Our roots are in the platforms we know best. For ConverterTec, former Woodward, SEG, IDS, and Efacec converters, we provide the full aftermarket lifecycle: spare parts, repairs, upgrades and retrofit, converter replacement, and condition monitoring, all backed by our own engineering and test-bay infrastructure.
For other turbine platforms, such as GE and ProWind, we deliver expert converter repairs and our own multibrand products developed specifically for those systems, so operators get an independent alternative without depending on the original supplier.

Beyond our own brands, we are an independent provider of converter spare parts for a wide range of other turbine platforms, with ConverterTec-engineered products built to fit them.

A new name for a company you may already know
If you own or service wind turbine converters, there is a good chance you already know us, just under an earlier name. The business started as SEG, then became IDS, and for years operated as Woodward. Since 2021 we have brought all of that engineering and field experience together under one name: ConverterTec.
The team, the know-how, and the products are the same. For more than 30 years, we have built, installed, and serviced converters for the wind industry, with 24,500+ converters installed across 50+ countries. So whether your converter carries an SEG, IDS, Woodward, or ConverterTec label, you are still dealing with the same people, and we still repair, upgrade, and support it.
