We are pleased to announce that ConverterTec Service and ENA Electronics have entered into a cooperation agreement in the field of frequency converter service, effective as of July 2024.
Through this collaboration, ConverterTec can offer its customers in North America an even faster and more efficient service for the repair of converter components.
ENA Electronics, a Canadian company headquartered in Hamilton, Ontario, specializes in repair, testing, preventive maintenance, reverse engineering and design of electronic components for the renewable energy industry, with a focus on providing innovative solutions and outstanding customer service.

ConverterTec has officially launched its new production and repair center for power electronics at its Bulgarian subsidiary in Sofia. The first power stacks were already successfully manufactured and tested in the first week of January 2024. By investing in a new production line, ConverterTec can meet the increased demand for these components and significantly reduce waiting times for customers.
Further investments in control technology will also follow this year in Bulgaria in order to improve the availability of the core components and other electronic components within the frequency converters. These measures are intended to minimize downtimes of wind turbines due to spare parts.
ConverterTec Service GmbH was founded in October 2022, in direct connection with the new focus on the service & aftermarket business at ConverterTec Group, in order to optimize the existing support and service for its customers and to further expand its growth.
Due to a positive growth development from the beginning, ConverterTec Service GmbH is able to expand its operating radius just one year later and will move into its new premises in the “TaT – Transfer Center for Adapted Technologies” in Rheine on October 01, 2023.
